Gerald H. Cromack
Co-Founder and Managing Director

Mr. Cromack is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of TriArtisan Capital Advisors LLC ("TriArtisan"), which was formed in 2016. Prior to forming TriArtisan, the Co-Founders of the firm operated as TriArtisan Capital Partners, since its founding in 2002. Prior to TriArtisan, Mr. Cromack was a principal and senior member of the managing group that purchased Furman Selz, a middle market financial services company, from Xerox financial services in 1993. After its sale in 1997 to ING Group, Mr. Cromack remained with ING Group (and the successor owner, ABN AMRO) until the beginning of 2002, serving as an executive member of the investment bank. From 1987 to 1994, Mr. Cromack worked as a senior member in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance departments of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Mr. Cromack started his career at the First National Bank of Chicago in its leveraged buyout corporate finance group.

 

Mr. Cromack received a B.A., with Distinction, in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

 

Mr. Cromack was responsible for TriArtisan’s investments in The Hartz Mountain Corporation, Lord & Taylor, Fuel Systems, Linens ‘n Things and EnergySolutions. Mr. Cromack has served on a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of EnergySolutions as well as serves on the board of World Business Lenders, a specialty finance company founded by one of TriArtisan’s operating partners.
